Flood Advisory issued May 29 at 2:08AM MDT until May 29 at 6:00AM MDT by NWS Denver CO * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is continuing. * WHERE...Southwestern Weld county. * WHEN...Until 600 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 202 AM MDT, emergency management reported flooding continuing in Eastern Greeley due to earlier thunderstorms. - The main flooded areas are in Greeley east of 8th Avenue, and areas along the number 3 ditch in eastern Greeley. There are numerous streets flooded in this area, including 8th Street east of highway 85. Water should gradually recede through the rest of the night. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eastern Greeley, Evans and Garden City. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
