Flood Advisory issued May 19 at 6:22PM EDT until May 19 at 9:30PM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Michigan, including the following county, Macomb. * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over parts of the area. This additional rain will exacerbate any ongoing minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Warren, Troy, St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Sterling Heights, Rochester, Clinton, Macomb Township, Rochester Hills, Roseville, Madison Heights, Fraser, Utica, Washington, Clinton Township, Shelby Township, Chesterfield Township and Stoney Creek Metro Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
